A qualified and experienced Life Coach and Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner (NLP) with over 7 years’ experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 to 25. Akeila's work has improved young people's confidence, wellbeing, goal-setting skills and emotional intelligence through workshops and one-to-one sessions. Her personal and professional experiences encouraged her to train as a coach in order to enable others to move forward in life and achieve their dreams. As a coach, Akeila specialises in working as a Mindset Strategist, working with a variety of professionals who are facing barriers or have limiting beliefs regarding their goals. She supports them to move forward to aspire, believe and achieve.

  • Coaching Inside and Out (CIAO), October 2018 – Present Freelance coaching coordinator, providing life coaching to female inmates in a large prison in the West Midlands.

  • Freelance Coach, NLP Practitioner and Trainee, November 2014 – Present Coaching clients on a one-to-one basis, facilitating group coaching sessions, project design and delivery, and developing tools and techniques. Specialising in authenticity, fulfilment and well-being.

  • Strategy Coach, Genius Within, January 2016 – April 2017 Associate Coach working with clients with neuro-diverse conditions such as Dyslexia, Autism and Asperger’s as well as clients suffering from stress and anxiety.
